The potential audience for THE TRAVELING PHOTOGRAPHER is huge, including those who like to travel or own a camera. As of 1997, tourism expenditures by U.S. residents overseas exceeded $53.5 billion, which accounted for 12% of the worldwide total spent on travel-related goods and services; add to that the $9 billion U.S. residents annually spend on purchasing photography equipment and taking pictures. And while it is not a conventional "how-to" show in the mold of home remodeling or cooking, viewers will certainly be able to build on what they see and hear to create a more satisfying travel experience. With the accent on reachable destinations as key to the formula, THE TRAVELING PHOTOGRAPHER adds up to a unique opportunity for our audience to be voyeur, participant and student as we explore visually rich locations, encountering a host of fascinating characters along the way.

Maui It’s hard to imagine anyone whose life hasn’t been touched in some way by the places they’ve been, the people they’ve met, or the photographs they’ve taken while traveling. Now, with a little help from his friends and some very interesting strangers, Bob Krist brings it all into focus on THE TRAVELING PHOTOGRAPHER.
