Awards are nice to receive; they signify recognition of excellence
from one's peers. They are not, however, the driving force for us
when we're in the creative stages of a project. We approach each
job with the attitude that we owe it to our clients to find
the most imaginative way to communicate their
message, and over the years several of our
programs have won awards at various
competitions.

When we were asked to create a program for Merrill Lynch
Consults showing how the need for a particular asset managing
service grows as people mature and become more successful, we decided
to take a "retro" approach. We took two actors from their fictional marriage in the '60s
through the ensuing decades to today. This involved aging them considerably as well as
fitting them with quintessesntial wardrobe from each time period. To give the project
more seasoning, we shot it on super 8 film and added a running voice-over commentary
to create the feel of home movies. |

To help the Central Park Conservancy raise money to maintain and further improve Central
Park, we shot different activities on 16mm film over the course of a year and intercut those |
 |
scenes with stills and voice-overs from people who frequent its grounds. We created a tableau that put forth the different things Central Park means to New Yorkers and visitors alike.
The government of Portugal wanted to promote itself as a first tier location for foreign investment. Working with Merrill Lynch, it was our job to create a short film that put the history and culture of Portugal in sync with the global economy of today. Shooting on 16mm film, we produced what is in effect a five-minute commercial promoting the people, place and friendly investment environment that is Portugal. |

In an effort to publicize water conservation initiatives,
we were commissioned by the New York Department of
Environmental Protection to create a video for the public
that would dramatize, in a fun way, the importance of
saving water. We came up with "Dripnet" - the tale of a
water conservation detective hot on the trail of people
who were wasting water. |

These are only a few examples of how we work with each of our clients to create programs that are right for their needs in terms of budget, content and form. If awards follow, we're always happy to accept them. |
